Christmas is a season for kindness and a time to offer a fresh message of hope.

At this time of year, many people who are struggling with financial distress, poor health, job uncertainty, addiction and bereavement find Christmas a time of real challenge.

We want to help these people know that they are not alone so this year we are hoping to give bags of kindness to people in need across the city.

Working with different organisations across the city, we will be supporting families battling addiction, young parents, women escaping domestic violence, residents of a night shelter and community housing. For some of these people the present they receive from us will be the only present they receive this year! We want these people to know that they are not alone, that Jesus loves them and that there are people who care.

This year we’d love to invite you to donate towards our Love Christmas Project, where we will be giving 'Bags of Kindness' to a wide variety of people, to bless them, spread some Christmas cheer and let them know about a God who loves them. The budget for each bag is £10 so feel free to donate as much as you would like to make this happen.

We will be hosting a festive fun 'Packing Day' at St Matts in early December that we’d love to invite you to come along to, keep your eyes peeled for the date (coming soon!).
