Ascension Day: Jesus is building his kingdom – Robin Smith

This week, our ordinand Robin Smith is speaking on Acts 1:1-11.

On Ascension Day, we remember Jesus as he returns to his Father in Heaven but with the promise that he will return to make his home our home, Heaven on Earth. Through the giving of the Holy Spirit we can experience something of Heaven now as we seek to encounter Jesus today as well as being empowered to build God’s home in and through our prayers and action.
